VP of Growth Marketing

Placester has built a thought-leadership position in digital marketing for the real estate industry with Placester Academy being one of the top sources of educational content. 

Our VP Growth Marketing will have deep experience in demand generation, content marketing, and digital marketing.  The person in this position will lead a team responsible for:

  • Demand Generation
  • Growth Hacking
  • Content Marketing (Videos, eBooks, Webinars, etc.)
  • Website including Placester Academy
  • Marketing Automation, Optimization (A/B Testing), & Interactive Chat
  • Channel Marketing

The VP Growth Marketing will report to the Chief Revenue Officer, who also runs Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Channels. This position will be a core member of both the GTM leadership team and the Placester Management Team.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in demand-focused marketing with 5 of those years in team leadership positions.  Ideal experience includes:

  • Running high volume inbound campaigns to drive MQLs and revenue growth
  • Analyzing campaigns and programs for effectiveness
  • Driving content calendars and on-demand content
  • Email marketing and lead nurturing through drip-marketing funnels
  • Expanding top of funnel leads that convert into opportunities
  • Building and growing organic web traffic
  • Driving cost-effective demand generation through paid digital channels
  • Supporting outbound campaigns collaboratively with prospecting teams
  • Marketing innovation and growth hacking
  • Testing and optimization (experience with Optimizely, Monetate, etc. preferred)
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Marketing Automation Systems
  • Leading high-performance marketing teams

Experience in the real estate industry would be a positive but is not required.  Experience targeting the SMB market is highly desirable.
